ANG MO KIO POOL CLOSE 29TH MAY 2023 TO MAR 2025
Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex was built in 1982, and was one of the six swimming complexes built within a span of three years (1981 to 1983) alongside with other sports complexes like Clementi (Aug’ 1983), Bukit Merah (Aug’1982) , Kallang Basin (Mar 1982), Paya Lebar (Sept’ 1981)and Bedok (Dec’ 1981). The objectives then was to give each new town its own identity.
The pool was welcomed by many Ang Mo Kio residents who, previously, had to travel to Toa Payoh Swimming Complex (1973) for a day out pool activity.
