As part of the SwimSafer 2.0 programme, it is essential for students to consolidate their water safety knowledge. Therefore, students will be required to attempt and pass an online theory quiz prior to their practical assessment. There is no time limit to the number of tries for the online quiz, allowing students to ensure a thorough understanding of the material.

What is the SwimSafer Quiz, and why is it important?

The SwimSafer Quiz is an assessment tool designed to test participants’ knowledge of water safety, swimming skills, and survival techniques. It’s an essential part of the SwimSafer program as it ensures that participants not only develop physical swimming abilities but also understand critical safety concepts that can prevent drowning and other water-related accidents.

Who is required to take the SwimSafer Quiz?

Participants who are enrolled in the SwimSafer program, particularly those at various stages such as Stage 1 to Stage 6, are required to take the quiz. It’s a mandatory component for certification, ensuring that each participant has a comprehensive understanding of aquatic safety and survival knowledge. Without doing the quiz, you will not be able to get your E- Certificate. The passing mark must be 80% and above.

What happens if I do not pass the SwimSafer Quiz?

Mulitple attempt can be made as long as you pass 80% and above. The main idea is to make you understand and be aware of personal survival and water safety.

Is the SwimSafer Quiz available in multiple languages?

The SwimSafer Quiz is primarily available in English. No other language are available at the moment.
