✅ Step 1: Create a CAMS Account
- Go to the official CAMS portal:
👉 https://saqswimsg.org.sg/home/ - Click “Register”
- Fill in:
- Student’s full name (IMPORTANT: must match ID)
- Unique email address (each child needs one)
- Password
- Verify your email before logging in
✅ Step 2: Link/ Tag to a Coach / Swim School
- After login:
- Go to Profile → Participant
- Tag your coach or swim school
- This is mandatory because:
- Your coach must approve/validate your booking before payment
- Please remember to just send the link once. There is no need to resend the link.
- Notify the coach or swim school once you have link to ensure you have registered with the right coach.
- You just need to send the link once.
👉 Without coach validation, you cannot proceed.
Once the coach approved, you will receive a email that look like the following.

✅ Step 3: Book a SwimSafer Test Slot
- Inside CAMS:
- Browse available assessment dates & locations
- Select your preferred slot
📌 Key notes:
- Slots are released weekly and up to 3 months in advance
- Registration closes 3 weeks before the test date
- Test slots are available all year round.

Once the slot is booked, you will receive the validation of the assessment. This is not yet a confirm assessment until payment is made to the system. You have to inform the coach that you have book the slot. The validation of assessment is simply mean waiting for coach approval.
✅ Step 4: Wait for Coach Approval
- Your coach will:
- Check readiness
- Approve your registration
👉 Status will show as:
- “Pending validation” → waiting for coach
✅ Step 5: Make Payment
- Once approved:
- Pay via CAMS portal to confirm your slot
- Only paid bookings are confirmed. Please pay to AQZOG after you have selected the test date in the CAMS System.
- You will receive an email that look like this with the tittle “Assessment Registration”.

- Go to assigned ActiveSG pool
- Bring:
- Swimwear
- Goggles
- Towel

- After the test:
- Log into CAMS
- Complete the online theory quiz within 7 days

- Results released: ~48 hours after test

- Passing practical + theory

❓ SwimSafer CAMS Booking – General Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can parents book directly?
Yes—but still need coach validation before confirmation.
2. Can I choose any pool?
No. Only approved CAMS centres are available. Currently the approved test centres are Bukit Batok, Jalan Besar, Yishun, Yio Chu Kang and Bedok Heartbeat.
3. What if I miss the booking window?
You need to rebook. Coach or swim school will advise you. You may check the allowable date in this link
4. Can I book without a coach?
❌ No. A registered SwimSafer coach must be tagged.
5. What is CAMS?
CAMS (Centralised Assessment Management System) is the official online platform used in Singapore to book and manage SwimSafer assessments under Singapore Aquatics.
6. Is CAMS compulsory for SwimSafer tests?
Yes. All SwimSafer test bookings must be done through CAMS. Walk-in or manual booking is not allowed.
7. Who can register for SwimSafer?
Children (usually 6-7 years old and above)
Teens and adults
As long as they meet the required swimming ability for the stage.
8. I am not sure about the Swimsafer Test Sequence. Can I book a Mock Test with AQZOG?
Yes you may book at a cost. For AQZOG Student, the mock test is $35 dollar. For non AQZOG Student, the mock test is $50 per pax. You can view our mock test schedule at the registration form.
Can I just do the mock test without swimsafer test to check for readiness?
Yes you may do so. This is perhaps a wise move. Being able to check what stage your child can perform during the mock test assessment. On top of that, if you book our mock test, we can provide you a better discount rate for your upcoming swimsafer test booking. (Meaning $80 per pax instead of $100 per pax). You can enrol the mock test here.

✅ Yes. Each participant must have their own CAMS account with a unique email address.

❌ No. Each child needs a separate email to register in CAMS.
3. Why must I tag a coach or swim school?

4. Can I book without a coach?

7. What happens if I don’t pay?
Your slot will not be reserved and may be released to others.
8. How much is the booking?
For AQZIG Student, the booking fee is $80 dollar per pax. For non AQZOG Student, the booking fee is $100.
9. How to be a AQZOG Student?
Join our Swim Mock test, our weekly swimming class or swimsafer holiday program (FREE) . Ex, past participants of our holiday swimsafer program are also considered AQZOG Student.
10. What if I do not make the payment after booking?
We will reject your booking and your test slot will be removed.

1. What should I bring for the test?

2. Can parents watch the test?
Yes, but only from designated spectator areas at the pool.
3. What if I am late or absent?
❌ You may forfeit your slot and fee. Rebooking is required.

1. When will I get my results?
📊 Usually within 48 hours after the assessment.
2. Do I need to complete a theory test?
✅ Yes. The online quiz must be completed within 7 days after the practical test. The practical test score must be 90% onward to be competent. If you score below 90# in your theory, you will need to attempt again.
3. What happens if I pass both practical and theory test?
🎉 You will receive a digital certificate via CAMS.
4. What if I fail?
You can:
Retake the same stage
Train further with your coach before rebooking
