Understanding the MOE SwimSafer Programme Results System
The SwimSafer Programme is administered under the Ministry of Education (MOE) and supported by Sport Singapore (SportSG). Results are not issued instantly after the assessment.
Instead, all results go through:
- Official verification
- Data submission by certified instructors
- Centralised processing by the national system
From JULY 2025 onwards, SwimSafer is split into 2 entities. One entities is managed by the SAQ (Singapore Aquatic) which is under the CAMS System. The other entities is managed by the SportSG which liases directly with the MOE Swimsafer Program.
When Are MOE SwimSafer Results Released?
After your child completes the SwimSafer assessment:
Typical timeline
- 2 to 4 weeks after assessment date
- During peak school or holiday periods, it may take slightly longer
This waiting period allows:
- Coaches to submit verified results
- Assessors to confirm assessment integrity
- MOE/SportSG systems to validate certification data
Parents should be cautious of anyone claiming “instant certification”, as official SwimSafer results must go through the national system.
