Swimsafer 2.0 C.A.M.s (Centralised Assessment Management System) will be part of the future swimsafer test starting Year 2025. There will only be 2 types of test. The MOE Swimsafer Test and the Swimsafer 2.0 C.A.M.s test. The Swimsafer 2.0 C.A.M.S is the same as MOE Swimsafer Test. Both will still be issuing the same design of Swimsafer Certificates if your student passed both the theory and the practical test.

There are 5 Assessment Centers that provide swimsafer test in Singapore. For those staying in the North East Region or Central region, you can have 3 choices of test centers around your location namely Canberra, Yio Chu Kang or Jalan Besar. Those staying at Clementi, Delta, Queenstown, bukit batok, senja and choa chu kang region, you have Jurong West as your best bet.

Things to do before Taking Swimsafer CAMS
- Ensure you are well prepared for the test. Over prepared is better than under prepared
- Know the environment, the taste of the pool water, and the water temperature. Different pools has different water temperature and water taste too. Some pool are abit salty.
- For those taking Stage 1,2,3,4, Remember to bring extra t shirt and short for the test.
- For those taking Stage 5 and Stage 6, please bring extra t shirt and LONG PANT.
What is Mock CAMS Test?
This session is a rehearsal for the CAMS assessment at their test center. A coach will guide you through each task to ensure you can perform it confidently. The assessment will only take place once, and youβll receive a detailed summary report of your SwimSafer results afterward. During the session, weβll provide proper guidance, highlighting areas for improvement and addressing any mistakes. This preparation ensures youβre fully equipped to perform well in the actual assessment. Our focus is on helping you refine your skills and build confidence in the water, ensuring you achieve the best possible outcome. Whether itβs technique adjustments or practical tips, the coach will be there to support you every step of the way. This rehearsal is your opportunity to gain valuable insights and polish your performance, setting you up for success in your SwimSafer certification.

Yes the cert is accepted by MOE and can be use for your child next upgrade if he has not reach swimsafer stage 6.
How to Register for SwimSafer Assessments (Pilot Test for CAMS Jan-Mar 2025)?
β’ Registrations through the SwimSafer portal and the SwimSafer 2.0 Assessment Registration Form will cease.
β’SwimSafer registration will require Service Providers to fill up a balloting form at SwimSafer Assessment Registration Ballot Form (Pilot Test for CAMS Jan – Mar 2025)
o One participant per FormSG submission
o One participant is only allowed to be registered under an assessment once.
o Participants cannot be registered for multiple locations on the same date.
o Service Provider may only submit up to 5 submissions per assessment day.
o Any submissions not following the mentioned points will be voided.
β’ After submission, Service Providers will be notified on the outcome of their Ballot. If successful, they can proceed to Assessment Registration Payment Form (Pilot Test for CAMS Jan – Mar 2025) to make payment
β’ Assessment Timeslots will be released at least 15 calendar days prior to the assessment date (excluding rain-off slots).
How is the balloting done?
β’ Submissions for each assessment are entered into a single balloting pool and randomized. For example, if an assessment receives 50 submissions but only has 20 slots available, 20 of those 50 submissions will be randomly selected for that assessment.
β’ The balloting pool is not formed by grouping all participants under a specific Service Provider and conducting a draw from a pool of Service Providers.
When will I know the outcome of my ballot?
β’ Service Providers will know if their ballot is Successful, Unsuccessful or Voided within 2 working days from the submission of their ballots via the email address they had provided in the ballot form
Can I make any changes for my ballot submission?
β’ No changes can be made after the ballot submission. Any changes will require you to submit a new ballot on a different assessment date.
Why was my ballot submission voided?
β’ Submissions are Voided due to the following 3 reasons:
o Multiple submissions of the same NRIC number within a single assessment
o Incorrect details during submission (e.g. wrong NRIC No. format)
o More than 5 submissions made by the same Service Provider
What should I do in an event of a bad weather?
β’ The assessor of the assessment will check with the ActiveSG staff at the swimming complex on the projected duration of closure due to inclement weather.
β’ Based on the information given, the assessor will make the decision to cancel the assessment if the closure duration exceeds the hour block for the assessment.
β’ Assessor will have to inform ActiveSG_SwimSafer that they are is a rain-off. By default, the rain-off assessment will be rescheduled to at least one week later.
β’ Service Providers will be notified of the new Rain-Off assessment details.
β’ If Service Providers do not wish to reschedule their assessment for their participants to the provided assessment, they will have to re-ballot for another assessment.

How do we assign Assessors for the assessments?
β’The SwimSafer team will assign assessors for each assessment in advance. On the day of the assessment, service providers and participants simply need to head to the designated assembly point, which will be marked with a SwimSafer signage.
